Swire Properties has recently received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to reshape the Miami skyline with the Mandarin Residences Miami, a much-anticipated dual-tower construction on Brickell Key. The FAA greenlight, detailed in a letter dated June 22, ensures the twin towers won’t interfere with air navigation.

According to the FAA, the Mandarin Residences Brickell Key project can reach heights of 1,044 feet above ground, or 1,049 feet above sea level for Tower 1, and 691 feet above ground or 700 feet above sea level for Tower 2. Interestingly, these approved dimensions seem to surpass the actual proposed heights for the buildings.

Swire Properties had previously announced its plans for the architecturally extraordinary One Island Drive, set to be the new jewel in Miami’s crown. This development will be designed by renowned architectural firm, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.

The taller of the twin towers, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami, is slated to reach over 800 feet. It will house 220 residential units, contributing significantly to the luxury housing market in Miami.

The second tower, to be adorned with the Mandarin Oriental brand, is set to rise approximately 400 feet. It will include 151 guest rooms, 61 private residences, and 28 hotel residences. These Mandarin Oriental Residences Miami promise a harmonious blend of upscale living and high-end hospitality, unlike anything else in the city.

Sales of these lavish Mandarin Residences Miami units are expected to kick off in late 2023, marking a landmark moment in Miami’s luxury real estate sector.
